• In Kenya alone, over 15 million adults still use feature phones or has no phone at all.
• According to Statista, over 50 million mobile phones are shipped into Africa every quarter. Unfortunately over half of those smartphones are feature phones.
• According to PEW Research and GSMA, 80% of Kenyans had mobile phone but only 30% of those were smartphones.
